Short Bio: TDH4--The Kentucky Folk Quartet was formed in 1993. The band is a rare blend of folk, jazz and regional music. The original songwriting and country singing of Bev Futrell, of the legendary Reel World String Band, is the centerpiece. Karen Jones, also a founding member of Reel World, adds her hot fiddling. George Neel plays a jazzy mandolin, and Ricky Baldwin, of Metropolitan Blues All-Stars, plays a masterful bass. The repertoire includes jazz standards Autumn Leaves and St. Louis Blues, along with tunes of Bill Monroe and songs of Doc Watson. All the band members have toured extensively; throughout the United States, Canada and Italy, and recorded with various professional groups. TDH4's CD Dust Devils On Our Heels, released in July 2013, recorded in Shangri la Studios, Lexington, Kentucky, Duane Lundy engineer.
